GROSS GUM WALL GETS CHANNEL 2'S ATTENTION

One of the few black eyes in Maplewood, the disgusting "Gum Wall" under the train trestle on Baker Street, got some more unfortunate attention this week when WCBS Chanel 2 did a story.

This gross display of chewed up substances for some reason is seen as art by a few.

But as the report below reminds us, the property is owned by New Jersey Transit and if you deface it with gum you are committing an at of vandalism.
