The building formerly known as The Women's Club, and for
a time as 60 Woodland Road, is now The Woodland.
And its open for business.
Township Cultural Affairs Coordinator Andrew Fishman
said the building, which the township paid some $1 million for last year, is
now available for rental use and other activities following a three-month
renovation.
He said the township did a “very thorough renovation”
of the front room, which is now The Parlor, and a clean-up of the Great Hall
using township labor and volunteers.
“The building is open for business it is available for
rentals,” he told Maplewoodian.com. Expect more information to be offered in a
press release today.
