STATE POLICE ISSUE TRAVEL BAN AFTER 11 P.M. MONDAY

From NJ.com:

The head of the State Police this evening issued an order banning most travel in New Jersey beginning at 11 p.m. and continuing indefinitely, as a blizzard that could bring as much as two feet of snow sweeps across the state.

The ban, signed by State Police Superintendent Col. Rick Fuentes, covers all roadways in the state and will continue until he deems travel safe.

Those exempt from the ban include public safety, public works and public transportation vehicles, utility vehicles, personnel operating emergency shelters, healthcare workers, the news media, patients traveling for urgent care and private vehicles involved in snow removal.

The ban also does not cover vehicles transporting critical supplies such as food and fuel.
