BOOK TALK SERIES TONIGHT AT MAIN LIBRARY

At the Library tonight:

Far From the Tree Book Discussion Series: Deaf Culture
Jason Wieland, of New Jersey's Department of Human Services, will talk about the Deaf community’s shared values, beliefs and visual means of relating to the world. The event will be ASL interpreted.
This book talk series is based on Far From theTree: Parents, Children and the Search for Identity, in which Andrew Solomon tells the stories of parents who not only learn to deal with their exceptional
children but also find profound meaning in doing so.
