The Star-Ledger reports:
MADISON — At about 10 p.m.
on Nov. 30, police arrested four young men, three from Maplewood and one
from Summit, after allegedly finding them smoking marijuana behind a
dumpster at Madison Plaza.
William Gabrielsen, 20, of Summit and Ian Dahl, Andrew Adams and
Matthew Gardner, all 20 and from Maplewood, were charged with possession
of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police said that officers checking on a premises at the Madison Plaza
encountered a group of four young men acting suspiciously behind a
dumpster. When the officers approached the men, they tried to flee.
All four were apprehended and an investigation indicated the group was smoking marijuana, police said.
Each was released with a pending court appearance.
