SCHOOL DISTRICT ISSUES WARNING FOR INCOMING FRIGID WEATHER

From the school district tonight:

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for tonight and tomorrow, with forecasts of frigid temperatures.
Children should be dressed in layers as preparation for the weather and the variable temperatures which may exist in the school building tomorrow.
Conditions may be icy in the morning.  Please plan extra time for travel to school.  If you drive, please exercise caution and look out for children.  Expect that there may be delays in bus pick up times.
Parents and guardians, If at all possible, please accompany your child to school or to the designated bus pick up spot, and stay with your child until he or she enters school or is picked up by the bus.
To help you protect your health and property against the low temperatures, the New Jersey Star Ledger has published a “Cold weather survival guide” with tips which may be useful.
