COLUMBIA HIGH SCHOOL LOCKED DOWN AFTER WEAPONS SCARE

Columbia High School went into lock down at about 12:30 p.m. today after reports of two males with weapons, a knife and brass knuckles.

School officials at the scene said the building was being searched and students were ordered to either remain in place or outside during the search.

Police had earlier said that the two were captured, but a search was being done to make sure others were not at large. It is not known if they were students.

As of 1:30 p.m., the lock down was still in place.
