MAPLEWOOD POOL GUEST FEE INCREASES

As the Maplewood Pool prepares to open on Saturday for the 2016 season, the fee for daily guest passes has increased from $10 to $15 for 2016.

This comes as other fees for special events have also increased, but the regular membership fees remain the same.

The daily guest fee increase also is occurring as the pool has seen a sharp drop in membership during the last five years.

The Recreation Department announced the daily guest rate increase in a message to 2016 members today. See it below:

We are 2 days from Opening Day, Pool Members!
Our team is busy getting everything ready for Saturday, in anticipation of a fun weekend.
Please remember our guest pass rates have changed to:
$15 adults
$10 children ages
Booklets are no longer available

Of course cash payments for guest passes helps hurry the entry line.

Also, thank you to the generous members that made donations upon registering.  Your kindness has allowed families who otherwise couldn’t join us this summer become members and make memories.
