BURGLARIES AND AUTO THEFT MARK POLICE WEEK

From Maplewood Police today:

 
 
 
 
November 27, 2013, Burglary; At 1210 PM, a Jacoby St resident flagged down an 
officer and reported that there had been a unknown male inside his home.  The 
male fled towards Boyden Ave prior to officers being flagged down.  The 
residence had been unlocked while the resident was home.  

November 28, 2013, Burglary Attempt; A home on Lexington Ave was reported to 
have damage to a door.  It is not believed that entry was made into the home.

November 28, 2013, Auto Theft; At approximately 1215 PM a older model Nissan 
Maxima was stolen from a Hilton Ave residence.  

December 1, 2013, Burglary; During the previous few days a home on Menzel Ave 
was entered and several valuables including jewelry were stolen.

 All incidents are currently under investigation by the Detective Bureau.  
Residents are asked to practice good crime prevention techniques and secure 
their garages and automobiles when left unattended.
