Informed by New Jersey Monthly that Maplewood will be one of the 16 favorite downtowns to be profiled in its upcoming September edition, De Luca added that there will be an online voting campaign to pick the best in the state.
At Tuesday night's Township Committee meeting, he made clear he wants Maplewood to win and urged everyone to vote on its behalf, hinting he will approach it like a political campaign.
