FORMER MAPLEWOOD DINER REBUILT FOR FUTURE EATERY

The former Maplewood Diner, burned down back in 2011, is rebuilt, re-habed and ready to be re-opened, according to Real Estate agent Brandon Zaleski of Bright Star Realty.

All they need now is a new owner.

Zaleski said the 6,500 square foot site at 1463 Springfield   Ave. has been on the market for the past six weeks, with owners LMD Enderle LLC. seeking either a tenant to lease or a buyer to own.

"They've ripped out all of the inside, the old equipment was taken out, water repair has been done and a new roof," Zaleski said. "We've had a lot of people interested, but no one has pulled the trigger."

Zaleski said one potential buyer was under contract, but could not find the financing. The site is up for lease at $7,500 per month or to purchase at $985,000.
