MAPLEWOODIAN OF THE WEEK: NEW SCHOOLS SUPERINTENDENT JOHN RAMOS

He is not in Maplewood yet, but incoming Superintendent John Ramos, whose appointment was announced last Monday night, will soon be here to run the school district.

His appointment brought relief after months of a search and he seems to have good credentials, although a blip on his record is his departure from the troubled Bridgeport School District.

All of this makes him our Maplewoodian of the Week.
