MAPLEWOOD DEMOCRATS SET TC ENDORSEMENT INTERVIEWS

We told you this weekend about the eight candidates seeking the Maplewood Democratic Committee endorsement for the two seats on the Township Committee up for re-election this year.

With incumbent Kathy Leventhal choosing not to run, fellow incumbent Jerry Ryan has seven other challengers he must compete with for the two endorsements.

Democratic Committee Chair Ian Grodman said Monday the interviews with the candidates will be held March 9 at the De Hart Community Center.

It is a secret committee review, but Grodman promises the endorsement will be revealed soon after.
