MAPLEWOODIAN LEE NAVLEN'S WEB SERIES UP FOR NATIONAL AWARDS

Regular Maplewoodian.com readers know Lee Navlen's hilarious web comedy series, Goodstein. We have been proud to debut each episode right her on our pages.

Well, Navlen and company have been given some top honors for their work, with three nominations in the prestigious LAWEBFEST awards, among the top online series awards.

Goodstein is nominated for outstanding comedy web series, while Navlen is up for outstanding lead actor and outstanding writing.

"Writing comedy works if the actors make it work and our actors are doing just that," Navlen said, noting cameos in several episodes by former mayor Ken Pettis and former Township Committeeman and current Democratic Party Committee Chair Ian Grodman.
