BURGLARIES, AUTO-RELATED THEFTS MARK POLICE WEEK

From Maplewood Police today:


April 13, 2015; Burglary; Sometime over the previous week an unoccupied home on Burnett Ave was entered and  furnaces and plumbing fixtures were stolen.

April 13, 2015; Attempt Theft of Rims; At approximately 3:00 AM Officer Munoz was patrolling the area of Girard Pl. While doing so he came upon a suspicious auto that immediately fled the area. The vehicle was lost on Prospect St. Upon returning to the scene a Jeep Grand Cherokee parked in the driveway of one of the homes was found to have the lug nuts removed from the wheels.
            
April 13, 2015; Auto Theft; At approximately 2:20 AM, a Subaru that was parked
 in the High School lot on West Parker Ave was stolen.
 
April 14, 2015; Attempt Auto Theft; A Chrysler parked in the driveway of a Hilton
 Ave residence was found to have damage to its door lock and ignition.
 
April 16, 2015; Burglary; At approximately 7:15 PM, an Irvington Ave resident called and reported that a male had just attempted to make entry to the rear of her home. The male fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival.
