MAPLEWOOD'S BARRY LEADS IMPORTANT NY TIMES SPORTS PAGE ONE TODAY

Maplewood's own Dan Barry was part of a great effort today in The New York Times to highlight the dangers of football with a moving story about the mother of a player who received serious head trauma from years of high school and college football and died last year at 32.

As the story below and HERE states, Patrick Risha suffered from brain-related emotional problems for much of his life, which ended in late 2014.

The Times gave up its entire sports front page today for the story, a major move for the Monday morning edition that is often the most popular sports page of the week with weekend highlights and coverage.

See the sports front page HERE.

Bravo to you both!
