We mentioned a few weeks ago that the Township was conducting an assessment of potholes in town following the recent harsh winter weather.
Now Township Committee member Jerry Ryan reports there are some 200 potholes, according to the findings, and announced plans for the public works department to fill them using existing manpower and funds.
"Our staff has determined they are able to cover those 200 potholes," Ryan said at Tuesday night's TC meeting. "We should rest assured that we have the staff and ability to repair those potholes."
But he added that the problem is so bad on Woodland Avenue that an entire re-paving of that street is expected to be needed. "It has to be redone completely," he said.
