The Township Committee on Tuesday introduced a $38.8 million municipal budget for 2015, which includes $28 million raised through taxes and a 2.51% tax increase for residents or about $700,000 total.
Mayor Vic De Luca said that equates to an average tax increase of $97.27 per homeowner.
He said the budget includes maintaining all current employees and programs, as well as ensuring at least one of the libraries will be open each day of the week, including weekends.

The TC will vote on final approval at the May 5th meeting, where a public hearing will also be held.
