The next step in the controversial Maplewood Village
Post Office site development project is a meeting before the Maplewood
Village Alliance tonight at Town Hall, 7:30 p.m.
The event will include a review of the
plan for 20 housing units and five retail outlets in a three-story
building.
More on the design HERE.
The project has become the big issue in town, partly because of the five-year tax exemption plan and the disagreement over the decision not to re-use the former post office building.
JMF Properties owner Joe Forgione, who is building the planned complex, will be on hand to answer questions. Hear our podcast interview with him from February HERE.
The MVA approval is one of many steps the project needs before work begins.
