NO SCHOOL REDISTRICTING UNTIL 2018-2019 AT THE EARLIEST

During an update on the school district's redistricting review Monday night, Superintendent John Ramos said that no changes would be implemented until at least the 2018-2019 school year, or even later.

"We anticipate that no changes will be made until the 2018-2019 school year at the earliest," he told the school board.

The school district in June hired Ross Haber Associates at a cost of $19,500 to review the current district school boundaries and building utilization. That review is continuing.

In an unrelated action, the school board unanimously approved the immigrant rights resolution we reported on earlier this week. See it HERE.
