MMS PRINCIPAL NEEDS A PROOFREADER

It is often annoying when a teacher sends out a note to parents with clear grammatical errors. But the principal?

This note emailed today from Maplewood Middle School principal Jerrill Adams advising us of some event changes, rattled our language arts core with no fewer than three clear mistakes. See if you can spot them.

Dear MMS Families,

Our Spring 2015 IB Open House will be is canceled next
week due to competing events requesting parent attendance to meet the new
Superintendent, Dr. John Ramos.

In lieu of IB Open House Night, please join the entire MMS school community at our annual Middle School in Action Night, on May 21st. There will be in opportunity for families to take a tour of the new science wing, visit the newly opening school store, join the Home School Association (HSA), and learn about the middle school curriculum. Teachers and administrators will be present and students will be showcasing their work from a wide variety of subjects. There will be additional opportunities to learn about supporting students with disabilities, supporting students with academic challenges, all incoming 5th grade families are welcome to join us!

We will be sending out more specific details later this month. I hope you to see you
there!

Sincerely,

Jerrill M. Adams
Principal

C'mon Mr. Adams, as your staff often tells their students, check your work.
