CHS FOOTBALL ENDS SEASON WITH BIG 21-14 WIN; AWAITS PLAYOFF WORD

Columbia High School football ended the regular season with a big win, 21-14, against visiting Irvington on Friday and capped the season with a 5-4 record.

They must await word about whether they will get a playoff birth.

Quarterback Brandon Robinson continued his great season effort going 12 of 20 passing for 162 yards, including a 63-yard TD pass to Kiambu Jones early on.

Jones ran for 42 yards on nine carries while Jerrard Brown-Hawke had 11 touches for 54 yards. On defense, Ozzie Williams had a sack and fumble recovery, while the defense sacked the QB four times overall.
