SCHOOL BOARD TO CONSIDER MORE FLEXIBLE MEDICATION POLICY TONIGHT

The Board of Education will consider a policy change at tonight's board meeting that gives the district more flexibility in administering medication to students at parents' request, specifically related to epinephrine for allergic reactions.

The new policy, found HERE, also requires that each school maintain a nebulizer and that each school nurse be trained in using it for asthma patients.

See the entire proposed policy HERE.

See tonight's agenda, which includes items on academic placement and budget planning, HERE.
