TC TO ADOPT BUDGET 3.5% HIGHER THAN LAST YEAR

When the Township Committee on Tuesday introduces the 2015 municipal budget, it will also include a 2% increase above the state-mandated cap, or $543,546, according to the ordinance to be adopted. That will mean the budget will be 3.5% higher than last year, although exact data has not been released.

This comes weeks after the TC delayed introduction of the budget after determining it needed $700,000 in cuts.
